Former Next Generation mainstay Q returned for the third-season Voyager episode “The Q and the Grey.” The Borg flourished, first in First Contact and then on several Voyager episodes (a corpse in “Blood Fever,” “Unity,” the third-season finale / fourth-season debut “Scorpion,” as hallucinations in “The Raven,” as holograms in “Living Witness,” as hallucinations in “One,” and in “Hope and Fear”). Interaction with the original show included the fifth-season Deep Space Nine episode “Trials and Tribble-ations,” while the Voyager episode “Flashback” revisited the events of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. The Mirror Universe was featured in the Deep Space Nine episode “Resurrection.”
