If you’re going to be at C2E2 in Chicago on Saturday, 19 March, come check out Sequart’s “Year of Ellis” panel.
The panel will be held from 4:30 – 5:30pm in room 475a.
Panelists will include Bleeding Cool‘s Rich Johnston, Julian Darius, Kevin Thurman, and Brett Williams.
The panel will discuss Sequart’s “Year of Ellis” initiative, consisting of three books and a documentary film:
Keeping the World Strange: A Planetary Guide, currently in Previews and available for order through your local comic shop. Edited by Cody Walker, it includes contributions by panelists Darius and Thurman.
Voyage in Noise: Warren Ellis and the Demise of Western Civilization, covering Ellis’s entire body of work, is written by panelist Kevin Thurman.
Shot in the Face: A Savage Journey to the Heart of Transmetropolitan, edited by Chad Nevett, features contributions by Darius, Thurman, and Williams.
Last but not least, the documentary film Warren Ellis: Captured Ghosts, directed by Patrick Meaney, is executive produced by Darius and features interviews with Johnston, who has long been a friend of Warren Ellis.
The panel will feature never-before-seen footage from the movie, due later this year.
Basically, we’ll be discussing everything you ever wanted to know about Warren Ellis. So if you’re a fan, be sure not to miss it!
(And directly afterwards, Sequart founder Julian Darius is honored to be presenting an award at Johnston’s Bleeding Cool C2E2 Awards in room 475b, so follow us over!)
This year’s C2E2 — Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo — will be held from Friday, 18 March, to Sunday, 20 March. For more information, visit c2e2.com.
