It’s Sequart’s Fourth Annual Sci-Fi Week!

Coinciding with this week’s release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Sequart is celebrating its fourth annual Sci-Fi Week!

All this week, we’ll be running content focusing on sci-fi comics and popular culture.

Sequart ran its first Sci-Fi Week in May 2013, timed to the release of Star Trek into Darkness. Our second Sci-Fi Week ran in November 2014, timed to the release of Interstellar. Our third Sci-Fi Week ran in December 2015, timed to the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Sequart’s love of science fiction extends to its book division. Earlier this month, we published a book on Star Wars comics. We’ve previously published a book on Star Wars movies and TV shows, a book on Star Trek comicsa book on Planet of the Apes comics, and a book on Jack Kirby’s 2001 comics! We’ve also announced a second Planet of the Apes volume, a third book of Star Wars analysis, and a book on Blade Runner, with more to come.

Although Sci-Fi Week is our only annual themed week, in the past Sequart occasionally ran other themed weeks. We used them as a way to celebrate popular subjects, to fill holes in comics and pop-culture criticism, and to serialize in-depth criticism over a single week instead of longer periods. You can think of these themed weeks as miniature conventions or conferences. Overall, Sci-Fi Week 4 is our 15th themed week. Past themed weeks include:
