Sequart Announces Its Third Annual Sci-Fi Week

On 14 December, Sequart will begin its third annual Sci-Fi Week, timed to coincide with that week’s release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Over the course of the week, Sequart will publish content focusing on sci-fi comics and popular culture.

Sequart ran its first Sci-Fi Week in May 2013, timed to the release of Star Trek into Darkness. Our second Sci-Fi Week ran in November 2014, timed to the release of Interstellar.

If you’d like to write for Sequart, now’s your chance! Content and pitches for pieces can be emailed to Sequart.Mike@gmail.com

This news follows on news that Sequart has just released A Long Time Ago: Exploring the Star Wars Cinematic Universe. It’s Sequart’s fourth book on science fiction, after this year’s The Sacred Scrolls: Comics on the Planet of the Apes, last year’s New Life and New Civilizations: Exploring Star Trek Comics, and 2013′s The Weirdest Sci-Fi Comic Ever Made: Understanding Jack Kirby’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. Sequart has also announced two additional Star Wars volumes, on the comics and the expanded universe, and a second volume on Planet of the Apes.
