The Image Revolution at Comic-Con

If you’re going to be at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, be sure to stop by our panel about The Image Revolution, our forthcoming documentary film about Image Comics.

Comics in Focus: The Image RevolutionOn the panel will be director and Sequart author Patrick Meaney, director of photography Jordan Rennert, and Sequart founder / executive producer Julian Darius. The panel will be moderated by F. J. DeSanto.

In addition, we’re proud to announce that Image founder and Top Cow CEO Marc Silvestri will be on the panel!

And of course, we’ll be previewing footage from the documentary.

The panel will be held 8-9pm on Thursday, 12 July — the first regular day of the con.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

In 1996, while still an undergraduate, Dr. Julian Darius founded what would become Sequart Research & Literacy Organization. After graduating magna cum laude from Lawrence University (Appleton, Wisconsin), he obtained his M.A. in English, authoring a thesis on John Milton and utopianism. In 2002, he moved to Waikiki, teaching college while obtaining an M.A. in French (high honors) and a Ph.D. in English. In 2011, he founded Martian Lit, which publishes creative work, including his comic book Martian Comics and his transgressive novel Nira/Sussa. He currently lives in Illinois.
