X-Men, The:

Stan Lee Era (1963-1966)

X-Men was a bit of the red-headed stepchild of 1960s Marvel Comics. It didn’t sell extremely well, and neither of the team’s co-creators, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, remained on the title for very long.
