With the use of fake/implanted memories, the government motivates Bloodshot to murder. While the implanted memories make Bloodshot think he is killing to protect a fictional family, all the while he is murdering against his control. Breaking away from the military after awakening, Bloodshot has left savage destruction wherever he goes. He, at first, was just trying to figure out his identity, but recently he has become a protector of Psiot children.
