Joe Bongiorno
New York native Joe Bongiorno is the author of the eight-volume book series Black Sabbath: The Illustrated Lyrics. In 1992, Joe created the exhaustive Star Wars Expanded Universe Timeline (www.starwarstimeline.net), which has gone on to feature several licensed but unpublished stories in the Star Wars universe, including his own novel Supernatural Encounters. Joe also started the Royal Timeline of Oz (www.oztimeline.net) and the Royal Publisher of Oz, in order to publish new stories in the universe started by L. Frank Baum, including the anthology The Lost Tales of Oz, illustrated by Eric Shanower. Joe has co-edited The Cyberpunk Nexus: Exploring the Blade Runner Universe and contributed essays on Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Planet of the Apes for several anthologies by Sequart, his most recent being a look at Satan in cinema, in Musings on Monsters. Joe currently lives in an ever-expanding Long Island library where he caters to the demands of too many cats and dogs.
